The Fish Species of the South Umpqua Watersheds

 

It is quite an experience to see fish that can average two and half feet in length frolicking about in the stream. It is a marvel to think that just a few short weeks prior to there arrival here at our section of the watershed these same fish were drawn by an ancient instinct to leave the vastness of their ocean habitat. They return here were they were born to spawn and propagate their kind.
