16 meters view of Joe Hall Watershed

This 16 meter aerial view highlights the actual main stream segments that will be impacted by the restoration project. Only the extreme lower reaches and the main stem will receive large wood deposits. The Joe Hall slide, large wood extractions, oak meadow restorations are spread out over the project area.

The large lighter colored patches are areas that have been clear cut on timber industry land in the not too distant past. These areas are dispersed among the patches of national forest boundaries. A closer look at the image and you can actually see the large old growth stands of timber scattered throughout.
