Our subwatershed (Elk Creek Subwatershed) sits in one of the outermost reaches of the Umpqua Basin Watershed Region. The sea going salmon and trout swim nearly 260 miles of winding river channels and streams to reach us. As the crow flies we are approximately 80 miles from the Pacific Ocean.
