log truck details

There are mainly two types of trucks on the road for hauling logs. Mostly straight haulers are used to capitalize on wood transport. There are limits to the weight a truck can legally haul on the road. Self loaders generally do not haul as much wood because of the extra weight of the loading equipment. But all of the trucks have the capacity to have their trailers lifted and stacked on the truck. This allows ease and speed of transport back to the log deck. Straight haulers must use an on the job loader to stack and unstack the trailer.
