This large snag happens to score high on the danger list. It leans, has been dead for a while and it stands next to a country road. It is known that standing dead trees are a valuable asset to forest ecology. Very rarely will and entire stand of dead trees be removed. The safer ones will be left to be homes of owls, food sources for wood peckers, and a myriads of other species.
