Casey is the restoration project lead. He oversees every phase of the project from funding to implementation. Safety is a big issue. Here he is seen by one of his “precious“ root wads. He is one of the Umpqua National Forest Fish Biologists. He does an excellent job putting up with my guff. For sure he is an “agency“ guy...but a good one. The USFS needs a few more like him.
