The project manager, some crew members, myself, the skidder operator and a tribal elder. The heavy set fellow is Tooter Ansures. He grew up on this land as a boy and remembers the last of the Coho Salmon showing up in 1950's. He is now one of the elders on the Cultural Resources Committee of the Cow Creek Band of the Umpqua Indians.
