Loyal and strong, faithful right to the end
A herding dog, yes, but first a great friend
Dear Aussies, my poem is dedicated to you
Thirty years I have known you - and you've always held true

TWO REGISTERED (AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD CLUB OF AMERICA) PUPS LEFT - FROM A LITTER OF FOUR BORN 5/19/11 (scroll to the end of this page to see the blue merle pups, both beautiful FEMALES - 8 weeks of age.) These pups turned 8 weeks of age Thursday, July 14. They are sweet, friendly, beautiful and marked a lot like their dad (one pup, Misty Blue, sports a full white collar like papa.) Dolly, on the other hand, twin sister - is not lacking in the way of winsome aussie looks. Both of them sport classic merled faces. We (Stanley and I) want the best homes for them - so if you think you might be that home, please contact us via e mail and tell us a little about yourself and family and why you want an aussie. We are in Tiller, Oregon. Our e mail is: mohair@singingfalls.com If you are a city home, you already know that aussies make great companions. If you need a sheep dog, I believe these lines will prove one for you. (Their sister Tinkerbelle has gone home to a wonderful home with a great family and 200 sheep...good for you, Tinker! Herd 'em tight, girl!)

Is your home the right one for Dolly or Misty Blue?

PLEASE NOTE. You can call us (541) 825 3070 - but we prefer e mails and will try to get back to you ASAP. Write mohair@singingfalls.com

C & C Northfork's 'Barod'
Singing Falls 'Dayenu'

To the left is "Barod."  The name is a Hebrew word meaning, "speckled, spotted and merled."  Barod is a beautifully marked blue merle with amber eyes, though both eyes are speckled with blue.  He is "papa."  We are thankful to C&C's Northfork for the privilege of owning this incredibly beautiful male dog.

The Dam: To the right is the lovely Singing Falls Dayenu. She is the progeny of our own Caleb (Las Rocosa lines) and Acuva (Flintridge lines.) We grieved a few years ago after losing both, but we still have their wonderful daughter, Dayenu, who sings with my husband every single morning a duet called 'In Comes the Morning Sun.'

She and Barod produced another nice batch of pups for us yet again in 2011. Hip x rays (both dogs) showed no hip problems. In fact, the veterinarian in Eagle Point was astounded that at the age of eight years, Barod did not even show a trace of arthritis (unusual for an older dog.)

We will view these aussie pups, but first, let us take a gander at "pa."

Barod - born 7/20/2002 (wow, Barod, you will be nine in four days. Happy birthday, baby boy!)

One more of Barod.  (He's handsome and he knows it!)   You can see the blue "specks"in his eyes when you view this photo, as well as the rich copper coloration he sports. O'Rafter Bottle Ranch/Meshlacom lines - just an all around personable fellow, always eager to please.

Our Dayenu when she was just a pup. Smart as a whip, a bit shy of strangers, loyal to her owners - and a stock dog natural. Las Rocosa lineage on sire's side and lots of Flintridge on dam's side.

PEDIGREES FURNISHED UPON REQUEST.

Now, and finally, the two girls Dolly and Misty Blue:

Dolly Misty

Dolly and Misty. Dolly is SOLD

As I stated above, both girls are registered with AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD CLUB OF AMERICA (ASCA). SHOTS CURRENT. Tails bobbed short. Both are blue merles. Nice markings (white and copper points.) They would be great for agility, if that is what you want to do in the future. Whether you wish to show in 4-H or go on to ASCA herding trials, these pups have what it takes. At 8 weeks, they are ready for their new homes. Always, like all our pups, they will exhibit that wonderful Singing Falls temperament, and it is no wonder that most of our buyers are return customers. Write and tell us why you think you might be the right home for either of these pretty girls. If you need recent pics, let me know and we will try to get a photo of either girl for you and answer any questions.
